You pay $217 per year for your Part B deductible in 2020. After your deductible is met, you typically pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount.

The standard Part B premium amount in 2022 will be $158.50. Most people will pay the standard Part B premium amount. If you modified adjusted gross income as reported on your IRS tax return from 2 years ago is above a certain amount, you'll pay the standard premium amount and an Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA).
Your 2020 income determines your IRMAA in 2022. Your 2021 income determines your IRMAA in 2023. The untaxed Social Security benefits aren’t included in the income for determining IRMAA.
